A Young Striker From Sikkim
Amon Lepcha a teenager from Sikkim is making some steady progress in football at the capital of Meghalaya, Shillong. This boy from Pakyong is already in Lajong FC senior team. As most of us are aware Lajong is one of the top clubs from the North East. Recently Amon was part of the Lajong FC team which lifted the Shillong Premier League Trophy. When asked about his experience so far He gave a short answer "It has been a really exciting and challenging journey for me so far but I am enjoying it and working hard." said Amon. He also added that he attended the India Under-16 camp in August but could not make it to the final team with a tinge of sadness. But Amon is still very young and he should get more such opportunities in future. Amon started playing football when he was 11 years old but made quick progress.
